Miura M020 bespoke Holder: Developed for Metric Tristarinc for Dublin Bus

Customer

Metric Tristarinc Ltd. (formerly Metric Group Ltd.) has been in the public transport business for more than 10 years and specializes in providing overall transit solutions combining specialised hardware & software solutions with years of expertise. Headquartered in Cork, Ireland, the company is a member of the Dutech Holdings Limited family and a direct descendant of the Tri Star Inc. Group. With partners in the UK, Germany and China, Metric Tristarinc has a strong presence in Europe and Asia, committed to delivering reliable and innovative solutions for public transport operators.

The solution designed and provided by Techpole consists of a robust, EU-manufactured steel holder for the Miura M020 payment terminal, specifically designed for Dublin’s public transport network buses. Developed in close collaboration with Metric Tristarinc to ensure a perfect fit, the stand is placed exactly where transactions occur. It features a 330° swivel and 180° tilt for easy handling by both drivers and passengers, along with a key-lock security system that prevents removal of the device once docked.

With this solution, Metric Tristarinc has streamlined its payment collection process on buses. The MIURA POS mount developed by Techpole allows for secure and efficient handling of the payment terminal, improving the interaction between passengers and drivers during fare collection. This has resulted in faster boarding times, a more organised and professional onboard payment experience, and enhanced durability for daily high-use environments.
