Universal stands

What is a universal card machine stand?

A universal stand holds the payment terminal with adjustable grips instead of a backplate made for one model. You set the grips to the size of your card machine and lock it in place.

It is the practical choice when:

  • You use several terminal brands across your checkouts or stores.
  • You may change payment provider and do not want to replace your stands.
  • Your terminal has no dedicated stand, or you need a solution straight away.

Compatible with most payment terminals on the market

The four grips adjust from 65 to 145 mm in width and from 166 to 202 mm in length. This covers the most common countertop and portable card machines, including:

  • Ingenico: Move 5000 and other Move and Desk models.
  • Verifone: VX680, V400m, V240m, V400c, V200c, P200, P400 and X990.
  • Other brands: PAX, Castles, Spire, Yarus, Hypercom and Worldline terminals.

Check the width and length of your terminal against these ranges. Very small mobile card readers may fall below the minimum size; in that case, contact us and we will recommend an alternative.

Features of our universal POS stands

330º swivel and 180º tilt

The steel swivel hinge lets the cashier turn the card machine towards the customer and angle the screen for easy chip and PIN or contactless payment. Hinges are available in plastic or metal.

Pole height to suit your counter

The standard pole is 120 mm high, with 160 mm and 200 mm options. Choose a lower pole for high counters and a taller one for low desks and accessible checkouts.

Hidden cables and secure fixing

Slots in the pole route the cables inside, protecting them from pulls and wear. The stand is fixed to the counter with four screws, hidden under a plastic cover for a clean finish.

Built to last

Every stand is made from high-quality steel, finished in black, and manufactured in the European Union.

Universal or model-specific stand?

A universal stand gives you flexibility. A model-specific stand uses a bespoke backplate that follows the exact shape of the terminal and can leave the charging cradle accessible.

  • Choose universal if you mix brands, expect to change provider, or need a quick, low-risk solution.
